Auckland, New Zealand

Well somehow it was my turn to write the blog again...something about Judith having to work a double shift today...excuses excuses excuses...but he I am taking up the slack and updating our adventure...

You will all be pleased to know that we both have employment now and have settled into a tiny 1 bedroom apartment pretty much on the main street here in Auckland. Judith is working at a really nice restaurant that is one of the "chic" places to be seen eating. Me on the otherhand have settled back into driving big trucks for long hours and bugger all pay...well nevermind as it keeps the money coming in and me out of trouble...

Our tiny apartment recently increased it's roomies when Rich and Kaz...the couple from the UK we taught to dive in Fiji...arrived and stayed with us for a while...now when i say our apartment was tiny...the word apartment is bigger than our place...poor Rich and Kaz had to go outside just to change their minds...hehehehe...well we all settled in for the duration and enjoyed each others company...although it got that if you got up from one of the two chairs we have you lost it...Judith and I enjoyed our time with Rich and Kaz and managed to catch up on how their diving had progressed...

Went out one night...actually a few...with an old schoolmate Brent Marris...he's now a very successful gentleman here in Auckland and he took me out for a couple of quiet beers and tried to introduce me to wine...maybe I'm just too much of a heathen but I do prefer my beer...when Judith finished work that night she had to contend with the two of us being very merry and loud...hehehe...she plans to pay me back at some stage...

Now I don't know how many of you watch the greatest rugby team on earth...here's a hint..."The Mighty All Blacks"...well they just cruised through the UK and completed a Grand Slam by beating Wales, Ireland, England and Scotland...now some say we only just beat England but you have to remember we were playing against the referee as well and he sent off 3 players in the 2nd half so we were down to 14 for most of the 2nd half and 13 for a while too...

Enough about the Rugby...we are just too good at the moment...

Anyway Judith and I are settling down and trying to get things going in the right direction money wise again...we are still very much in love and she is showing signs of getting clucky...for our foriegn readers this means she is looking at children and saying..."ooohh we will have some someday"...we were walking down through a market the other day and she saw some baby All Black clothes...she spun around and said.."I want a baby boy"...well you can imagine my response...I was out of sight in 2 seconds flat...nah only kidding...I managed to show her the shoe shop next door and she got distracted...phew saved again...hehehe

well have to go and do some real work...our love goes out to all of you and we look forward to hearing back when you get a chance to chat...take care all
